A delegation of popular Christian priests and politicians has met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M. Karunanidhi and appealed to him that the exclusive 3.5% reservation in education and employment for Christians should be abrogated. Their contention based on their assessment particularly in the MBBS admissions is that it is detrimental to the interest of the Christian community.
