-- The return to active political life by Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, three months after the murderous attack on him, is nothing short of a divine miracle. It only reinforces and strengthens our faith in Allah, the Almighty. Mr Owaisi has himself acknowledged in his highly emotional first speech that he survived the deadly attack only because of the prayers of the hundreds of thousands of peace-loving Indians in general and Hyderabadis in particular.
On this happy occasion, we at NRIndians Group congratulate the entire Owaisi family and, in particular, Mr Akbar Owaisi's highly respectable uncle in Medina Mr Ahmed Owaisi and the honourable and popular MP of Hyderabad Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi.
Congratulations also to all those who stood on the side of peace and truth during these difficult moments. Alhamdulillah.
It must be said here and now that this not the time for recrimination. Now is the time for consolidation and reconciliation. It is the spirit of accommodation that should be the hallmark of Indian Muslims. Politics of revenge should not be promoted. Yes, the murderers should and must be punished and justice should not only be done but it should be seen to be done.
Do watch the entire video, the link for which was sent in by our honourable member Mr Aqil G. Mohammed, and pray for the well being of the First Family of the beloved city of Hyderabad. It is time for celebration and thanksgiving.
