AMBUR OPEN 3 EXHIBITION
The 3rd edition of the exhibition of footwear components, accessories, finished leather, technology and machinery titled “Ambur Open 3” is to be held on 6th and 7th of June 2012 by Indian Shoe Federation in co-operation with SISMA, IFLMEA, ATA and AFCAMMI after its successful 1st and 2nd editions at the Ambur Trade Centre in Ambur.
The organizers Indian Shoe Federation has stated beautifully that the Ambur Open is to stay here and they have striven to give all a truly enriching and world class event by conducting seminars on carefully chosen subjects that highlight the current needs of the industry. The Centre provides a right business ambience with amenities and facilities of top international standards which ideal for buyer-seller discussions.
The Ambur Trade Centre is a symbol of the industrial development in Tamil Nadu. The Ambur cluster has developed and is developing well adopting the progressive policy of the government of India. The quality of leather and leather products produced here are of high international standards. Big international giants like Fretz Men, Florsheim, Lumberjack, Gabor, Clarks and Hugo Boss have close business links with shoe manufacturers here.
Kudos to Mr. M. Rafeeque Ahmed for being mainly responsible for establishing the prestigious Ambur Trade Centre and conducting the Ambur Open exhibition every year so excellently and so efficiently with the support of some associations and businessmen despite many hurdles.
The exhibition is fast becoming an important and attractive event of the Indian leather and leather products industry attracting overseas attention and participation. It will grow by leaps and bounds as it is based on sound planning.
